Ana Chávez, LCSW
Ana C. Chávez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Chicago. As an experienced therapist Ana has worked with patients and supervised other clinicians in community mental health settings. She has provided services throughout several areas of Chicago and has supported clients of diverse ages and backgrounds. As a practicing social worker, Ana focuses her practice to understand the full scope of a client’s cultural, historical, and social identity and how to build on those strengths and identify areas of growth.
Ana has focused her clinical work to be relational, cultural, and trauma informed. She focuses on building a safe and empathetic therapeutic relationship. A cornerstone of her practice is to work with clients to build insight and self compassion. She enjoys getting to know each individual and continues to be curious about the human experience.
More importantly, Ana understands that all clients are walking into therapy with a wide array of life experiences and different expectations for therapy. Ana will work closely with you to align your life with your goals. She is excited to work with you.
Outside of work, Ana enjoys watching her dogs sleep and hunting for vintage purses at a thrift stores. She is also a passionate gardener, picking up the hobby during the pandemic. Ana loves learning about new plants and gardening techniques so you have any tips you want to share!
